Summary: Mattawa is a small community of 1800 people in Northern Ontario so the is not a big selection of hotel or motels in the area Welcome in is on the outskirts of town The property is well maintained and extremely clean located beside a small lake it has excellent scenery especially at sunset. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning system handled the july heat and humidity. We did notice a few minor items, there was no iron or ironing board, the was no hair dryer or place to hand up your clothes nor did we notice any ice available. There is limited dining options in the area but there was a Timmi’s about 4 mins from the inn and a great Thai restaurant about 5 mins away. I would definitely stay here again
