The Space:
A villa close to great views from the LaVanta Infinity pool. Kalkan and its restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities, and town beach are a short taxi drive away.

LaVanta has envious views. Its ambient location is great for couples and families (with kids)......and tranquility, if that is what you are after.

The property has been furnished to a very high standard with imaginative use of fabric colours and original artwork. It enjoys a large well planted garden with views to the sea and there is masses of decking for sunbathing around the private swimming-pool. It also affords guests a great level of privacy also. There are excellent views across Kalkan, Kalamar Bay and the Mediterranean.

The villa is well equipped and spacious and has everything a family needs to cater for a holiday. The villa boasts three good sized bedrooms, the master being en-suite. Two of the bedrooms have double doors opening onto an upper balcony, with a table and chairs that provide some peace and quiet to read or have a glass of wine whilst watching the sun drop over the Mediterranean Sea. There are 3 bathrooms, all with showers, and one with a bath.

The Villa is less than a 100m from the LaVanta Infinity Pool. 25m long for those that enjoy a swim or simply lounging around the pool soaking up the fantastic views.

All properties on LaVanta are fully air-conditioned.

Guest Access:
You have access to the whole house with garden and outdoor spaces alone, including swimming pool.

Full use of LaVanta facilities including a stunning communal 25m Infinity pool with breathtaking views of the mediterranean with sun-loungers and parasols. Alongside the pool is the LaVanta ClubHouse which offers a selection of hot and cold food; beers, wines, spirits, cocktails and soft drinks. Children are also catered for with table tennis; football table; trampoline and an infant plunge pool. We look forward to welcoming you to the Clubhouse.

The Neighborhood:
KALKAN
As a retreat from the rigours of modern life, Kalkan is little short of idyllic!

Nestled around a sheltered natural harbour at the foot of the majestic Taurus Mountains, this unspoilt historic town overlooks a bay of breathtaking beauty.

A thriving Greek fishing village called Kalamaki until the 1920s; Kalkan is now largely devoted to high-end tourism.

Look out for Kalkan's charms in the compact old town including the picturesque harbour, shops, and various eateries including cafés, bars and fine dining restaurants.

The town is well served by banks and supermarkets. There is a large Thursday market in town and a smaller local market in the neighbouring village of Akbel on a Sunday.

The harbour area caters for all, including a small pebble beach, beach clubs (many of which can be reached by a frequent boat shuttle service); watersports clubs; and not forgetting the very popular past-time of a day at sea.

If you wish to venture beyond Kalkan, a visit to Kas (20min drive) would be highly recommended or to Fethiye, which is very popular for shopping.

LAVANTA
The gated complex that is LaVanta is set within beautiful landscaped gardens overlooking Kalkan and the Mediterranean Sea on Turkey's Turquoise coast.

It is a 4-minute drive (or an energetic 20 minute walk) to the centre of town. Its height above sea level means that it benefits from cooling breezes in the height of the summer. There is a large 25m communal infinity pool, plunge pool (for the kids), and a selection of sunloungers and parasols. Sat alongside the pool is the LaVanta Clubhouse which includes a café and bar offer throughout the day. It is unquestionably, the place to enjoy the magnificent hillside setting.

The world-renowned Kaputas beach and Patara, with its Lycian ruins are both only a 10-minute drive away.

Getting Around:
You can access the town via the very reliable local taxi service. Call 805 from the telephone in your property. Be sure to give the name of the property “at LaVanta”.

If you wish to venture further, the taxi service can take you to many of the popular tourist attractions. However, should you wish to hire a car, the This Is Kalkan team can make all the necessary arrangements on your behalf.
