Positive: We’ve had such a lovely stay. The house feels like a warm hug at every turn, with so many thoughtful touches. The kids were thrilled to find the jar of chocolates, and I loved that there was even an apron in the kitchen. Small things, but they made a big difference. Everything has been thought through so carefully. It’s peaceful, beautifully presented and has everything you could possibly need. The hot tub and nature on the doorstep were the icing on the cake. My friend and I are both juggling work and motherhood, and this was just the break we needed. Time to breathe, laugh and rest. They even fitted a new router while we were there — nothing was too much trouble. We did manage to turn the hot tub off by mistake, but our host was so kind and understanding. The history of the house and family adds such a special feeling. We felt part of something quite magical. We’d come back in a heartbeat. Our only regret is not booking another night!
