Situated in the bustling streets of French Concession area, this home is smart and calm. A private elevator only services for you with an elevator code. The front door opens into an open-plan living area, which is white-painted, with white wood floors and long windows at each end. First up here is the sitting area, where a pale-green Eileen Grayโs day bed, 2 smoke grey park armchairs designed by Jasper Morrison and those black tubes designed by the house owner herself, inspired by her favorite minimal art movement. You can use those tubes as coffee tables or chairs. A terrace with a beautiful Shanghai city view.
In this open space, there is a Saarinen Dining Table fit for a banquet of 2 with 2 simple white curvy chairs from Danish furniture design studio Hay and offering plenty of space to spread out. Left next to it that leads into the kitchen โa coffee machine, a smoothie maker, an oven and all those stainless steel appliances that will easier to help you cook your own meals to feel just like a home.
Across the Hallway, one guest bathroom is on the left with a bathtub. And then beyond a white wooden door that leads to the master bedroom. It has a wooden king-size bed. A door to one side here leads to the en suite bathroom, which is decorated in wooden and white marble, with a walk-in shower and a bigger bathtub.
Opposite to the master bedroom there is a study room. A study table designed by Jean Prouvรฉ with a Chinese high school chair. A pair of contemporary brown vintage leather armchair next to it while full-height shelves provide plenty of books to read on the wall.
The condo around with many attractions, and within walking distance of many restaurants, supermarkets and Shanghai cinema. To the Bund, Xingtiandi, Tianzifang are within 20mins drive. An international shopping area, Xujiahui, and a scenic road, Huaihai Lu,Huashan Lu are within walking distance as well.
