Step through the front door of this home and you’ll feel the designer fairy dust has been sprinkled around! Its stylish coastal vibe emanates from every room and we love it. With white washed floorboards and tasteful furnishings it’s bound to appeal.
With the main living upstairs, the downstairs houses the rumpus room, one of the bedrooms, a bathroom and the outdoor entertaining and laundry. The bedroom has both a Queen bed and a double in it, suiting a family group. Well-appointed and spacious, it has an ensuite with a beautiful freestanding bath as well as a shower, vanity and toilet. The rumpus room is terrific with comfy seating, a TV, and plenty of stools around the pool table. Lots of fun to be had here! Head outside to enjoy the spa, firepit and undercover outdoor seating. With plenty of adjacent grass for kids to play on, this is a great setting for sunset drinks after a day at the beach. Fire up the BBQ and chill! There is also a laundry downstairs with a washing machine for your use.
Upstairs the open plan living area has a luxurious feel. With a large modular sofa there’s plenty of room for everyone to relax, and the dining table seats 8. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped and includes a dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine. Sliding door open to the balcony with an outdoor setting and views of the surrounding area, perfect for morning coffee or breakfast.
There is a Queen bedroom and 2 further bedrooms with twin singles in each. All are tastefully decorated and all linen is included. The family bathroom has a shower, vanity and toilet.
Plenty of parking, WiFi and the possibility of bringing your pet are all added bonuses. Perfect!
Culburra is an ideal spot for a holiday, with its long expanse of beach and its village atmosphere. There is so much to do in the area, from swimming and surfing to boating and fishing. Bring your boat and use the boat ramps at Crookhaven Heads and Orient Point. The surf school in Culburra might appeal to the kids or all have a go at stand up paddle boarding. Walk the 400 metres to Culburra Beach and just relax on the sand. So much room for everyone! The surf life saving club with its patrolled swimming area is a little further and the short drive might be more appealing.
Tennis courts, a skate park, playground and a bowling club are all on offer nearby. Enjoy a nature walk to Crookhaven Lighthouse and to Penguin Head Lookout - the views are spectacular.
There are plenty of eateries in Culburra, just 1.8km away, including Italian, fish and chips, vegetarian, Chinese and Mexican. Cafes abound too and there is a Woolworths for your convenience. A trip to Jim Wild’s oyster farm is highly recommended for its fresh seafood.
For some retail therapy, there are gift and homewares shops in Culburra, a gallery at Greenwell Point, and The Mill Precinct at Pyree, a short but enjoyable drive away. Explore the local arts and crafts and grab a spot of lunch. Merribee Botanic Gardens is also worth a visit. For more mainstream amenities, Nowra is only a 20 minute drive away.
