Liebevoll renoviertes Bauernhaus in sonniger Lage am Fuße der beeindruckenden Kulisse des Grimming. Traumhafter Panoramablick in die umliegende Bergwelt.
Das Ferienhaus liegt in der beliebten Ferienregion Steirisches Ennstal, in ruhiger aber zentraler Lage des Dorfes St.Martin am Grimming, in 716 m Seehhöhe.
Die Landwirtschaft vlg. Schwöllerbauer, wird seit dem Jahr 2006 nicht mehr aktiv. bewirtschaftet.
Das Haus mit insgesamt 110 Quadratmeter Wohnfläche steht unseren Gästen alleine zur Verfügung. Es verfügt über drei Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoß für insgesamt 5 Gäste , erreichbar über eine Treppe. Im Wohnzimmer besteht die Möglichkeit, ein ausziehbares, gemütliches Schlafsofa für einen sechsten Gast gegen Aufpreis zu benützen.
Alle Räume im Obergeschoß wurden weitgehend original erhalten.
Im Erdgeschoß, welches über 3 Stufen erreichbar ist, befinden sich ein Vorraum mit Pelletsofen, ausreichend Platz für Garderobe und Schuhe. Die große und gut ausgestattete Küche, ist mit dem gemütlichen Wohnzimmer über 2 Stufen ohne Tür verbunden. Weiters befindet sich im Erdgeschoß das Badezimmer und das separate WC.
Im Vorraum zum Bad steht eine Infrarotkabine zur Benutzung bereit.

Der Außenbereich auf der Südseite des Hauses, läd mit einer geschützten Sitzmöglichkeit in der überdachten Veranda, einer Gartenschaukel, einer Kinderschaukel und herrlichen Panoramablick auf die Schladminger Tauern zum geniesen ein. Zusätzlich steht eine große Grundfläche rund um das Haus zum herumtollen für Kinder, rodeln im Winter oder einfach nur zum entspannen zur Verfügung. Der mächtige Grimming, drohnt zum angreifen nahe, an der Nordseite des Hauses.
Ebenfalls an der Nordseite des Hauses, befindet sich ein Abstellraum, wo sie Brennholz für den Küchenherd, einen Holzkohlegrill mit Zubehör, Spielsachen, Liegestühle und eine Abstellmöglichkeit für Fahrräder, Ski oder ähnliches finden.
Den Dorfgasthof Mayer können sie fußläufig in zwei Minuten erreichen. Eine Tankstelle mit E-Ladestation und angeschlossenen Nahversorger für den normalpreisigen Einkauf und für frisches Gebäck am Morgen finden sie in ca. 500 m Entfernung.
In den Sommermonaten ist das beheiztes Freibad mit Rutsche in ca. 300 m Entfernung in Betrieb.
Den traumhaften Salzawasserfall, können sie vom Haus weg in ca. 30 Minuten zu Fuß erwandern. Der Stoderzinken und das Friedenskircherl am Stoderzinken, welches im Jahr 2022 die Wahl zum schönsten Platz Österreichs gewann, ereichen sie mit dem PKW in ca. 25 Minuten und ist beinahe Pflicht für jeden Gast.
Herrliche Mountainbike-Touren z.B. rund um den Grimming, die Viehbergrunde, die Dachsteinrunde oder in die Sölktäler können sie ebenfalls vom Haus weg starten. Eine versperrbare Abestellmöglichkeit mit Lademöglichkeit für E-Bikes ist vorhanden.
Das steirische Salzkammergut mit Bad Aussee, dem Grundlsee, Altausseersee, Toplitzsee und dem Kammersee ereichen sie mit dem PKW in ca. 30 Minuten.
Im Winter erreichen sie die 4 Berge Skischaukel, Haus- Planai -Hochwurzen - Reiteralm sowie die kleineren Skigebiete Galsterberg, Planneralm, Riesneralm und die Tauplitz in ca. 15 bis 30 Minuten mit dem PKW. Auch für Skitourengeher gibt es im Ennstal eine Vielzahl an Möglichkeiten.
Für Kulturinteressierte lohnt sich ein Besuch des Stift Admont mit der weltgrößten und sehr beeindruckenden Klosterbibliothek oder Schloss Trautenfels mit seinen Ausstellungen.
