Situated on the 200+ year property of the Shipbuilderโs Cottage & Summer Kitchen, this one-bedroom unit has a covered porch overlooking a spacious treed lawn, lily pond, gazebo and hammocks. With the Bay of Fundy within view, the highest tides in the world can be heard caressing the shoreline and, when foggy, the Quaco Head lighthouse fog horn echoes itโs warning to fishing boats in the bay. Cozy and comfortable, peaceful and quiet, it's a perfect place to relax after a day exploring the beauty of the area.
Ideally situated, the cottage is located 5 km from the Village of St. Martins, the harbour, restaurants, cafe, art and gift shops, tourist information centre, museum and the Sea Caves. The Fundy Trail is 13 km from the cottage. Within walking distance of the cottage is The Quaco Head Lighthouse (1.3kms), and Brown's beach (1.9kms) - which is as quiet as it is scenic and a rock lover's dream. There is also a coastal trail that connects the two.
