Matavai Bay is a magical and mythical place because it was the place of the first contact between the Polynesians and the Europeans when the British lieutenant Samuel Wallis landed there on June 17, 1767. It was then Bougainville's turn and then the point of arrival of great expeditions led by James Cook, notably with the well-known Bounty.

The Pacific Suite is a one bedroom apartment ideal for 2 persons located within the hotel Le Tahiti by Pearl Resort in Arue city on the northern coast of Tahiti island. The resort is right on a black sand beach in the heart of the Matavai bay, very much appreciated by dolphins.
Pacific Suite is the perfect place for a romantic escapade or a business trip. The resort being located at less than 10 min of the capital, Papeete, guests will have access to many shopping and activities options around.

Fully equipped and and tastefully furnished, at the first floor, the Pacific Suite offers beautiful views on the bay and the resort swimming pool. Entirely air-conditioned, it features one spacious bedroom with king size bed, a full bathroom with shower, bathtub and wc. There is an extra wc for guests. It also features an open-air terrace. The kitchen area is composed of modern equipment and dining corner.

During your stay, you will get two complimentary pass to access the resort pool and gym for free.

Guests have also access to free WIFI internet and a private parking.

The Pacific suite being in a resort you may enjoy polynesian shows, music trio at the bar and any happenings at extra charges. You are allowed to access any of the restaurants or the bar upon reservation.
For pro or amateur surfers, there are few beach breaks at less than 15-drive up north in Mahina district. Most popular are Venus and Papenoo surf spots. Ask our concierge for surf lessons.

Should you wish to discover the Island and its must “sees and dos”, please be informed that public transportation may not be reliable especially late at night or on week-ends. We highly recommend you to rent a car for your holidays.
