Positive: This is a tough one, as this place could be amazing for some and not so great for others. I had a great stay overall, but I'll also try and be subjective. The price WAS great when I rented it and with that in mind I can live with several of the "faults" I post here. It's for sure good value. The surrounding area is very young and hip, and somewhat of a "party central" for young adults. There are several eateries open to 03-05 (AM), where most restaurants in Seoul close around 22 (10PM), and even a night club right next door - and many other bars and entertainment nearby. The fact is: There is a bedroom (A), another bedroom (B) and a living room (C), and depending on which you will use for sleeping and how light of a sleeper you are the stay can be amazing or it can be good but maybe not great. (A) has a big double bedroom and is very comfortable, and easy to sleep in. It is not particularly noisy and is dark enough to sleep well. If you will only need this for sleeping this accommodation is really great! The location is great as it's only about 1 min on foot from the "ring line" metro (green, #2) that pretty much takes you everywhere you want in Seoul. Not far away on foot (or 1 metro station) is an up and coming hip area (Seongsu) and of course the immediate area has food, bars and entertainment open til late at night, and it's a fun vibrant atmosphere. The amenities provided are nice, there's a washing machine and a dryer! A spot to work and both a fridge and freezer, and kitchen utilities. There's shampoo and toothpaste and communication with the accommodation is easy. No key needed, as it's PIN code accessible, floor heating is great for Winters and there is A/C for Summers.
Negative: The apartment is on the 3rd floor (or 2nd if you don't count the ground floor) with no elevator - maybe a problem for some? The largest towels are not very large, but many are provided, so it wasn't a big issue. Room (B) is facing the street and is much more noisy, and a bit brighter due to glowing street signs. Even though there are blinds on the windows, they are not blocking all the light and it can definitely be an issue if you're a light sleeper, somewhat for lights but for sure for noise. If you bring ear plugs you should be good though as the noise isn't crazy, but it is noticeable and it lasts until late at night. The living room (C) can be an option as it's less noisy, but the room has no real way of blocking light, so if you need the dark to sleep, it will suck for you, other than that the living room is serviceable as a spot to sleep as well. :) The TV is only in one bedroom and can't be moved into the living room. Again, not a big issue, but a bit annoying for those that might wanna watch something.
Summary: A really nice stay that's in a great location for some, but maybe not for all
