Positive: Lovely garden, very peaceful area, house had everything we needed. Family was lovely, they gave us a lift into the town and even picked us up again when we went on a day trip. They gave us some restaurant recommendations and made the reservations for us so we didn't have to struggle with our very limited Italian!
Negative: Our fault as we came in a campervan, but unless you have a car/scooter it's hard to get down to the town, there's no public transport. The road from Recco is absolutely tiny, even a large car would struggle, so definitely come in via Rapallo, its still a small lane, but drive-able.
