Welcome to our Bright and Sunny Onanole Country House! Less than a 10 minute drive to downtown Clear Lake and on a spacious lot, this cabin makes for a great private getaway. This four bedroom cabin has a woodstove and a hot tub! With uninterrupted forest views from the back deck, stargaze from the hot tub or drive a few minutes to downtown Clear Lake to experience the many cafes, shops, beach, and amenities.
The Space:
Our cabin is an 1800 sq ft fully renovated bright and airy cabin. It provides the perfect backdrop for your ultimate family vacation, couple's weekend or getaway in nature. There are 4 bedrooms, 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs with two full bathrooms, and two full kitchens – one on each level. The upstairs open concept living area boasts big windows, a living room, and a large dining table to enjoy meals together. The downstairs living room has a big comfy sectional to curl up on and watch movies, or to enjoy the woodstove, a foosball table, and its own kitchen to either make popcorn for movie nights or great for a multi family stay! Whether it's reading your favourite new book, playing in the yard, having a campfire or watching Netflix this property is perfect for your family.
The Neighborhood:
Clear Lake Country is one of the jewels of the Prairies, like a smaller scale Banff (without all the tourists!). The pristine water is perfect for swimming, sailing and fishing. The charming town is filled with trendy cafes, restaurants, shops and ice cream. The Park boasts some of the region's best mountain biking, hiking, and cross-country skiing, and endless opportunities to see wildlife, including the Bison park. Fat bikes, canoes, skis, and paddle boards are all available to rent in town. In winter, Wasagaming is a winter wonderland with skating trails through the woods, and snowmobile trails right near the cabin.
Our cabin is located in an established residential neighbourhood a few minutes' drive from the park. This is a quiet neighbourhood and it's really important to us to be great neighbours.
Other Things to Note:
** Please note with new bylaws we are limited to 2 adults per bedroom. This does not include kids. There is no limit on children under 18 allowed, only adults. We allow MAX 8 adults at this cabin.**
We are so happy to share our space with guests who are looking to use it as a retreat to reconnect with family and friends, but please note that this is not a party rental. We are part of an established neighbourhood where people live year-round and it is our goal to always be awesome neighbours–please bear this in mind when planning your stay.
Guests who are 25 and older are welcome to rent our cabin. If you are an especially mature younger person, you’re welcome to inquire.
Firearms of any kind are not allowed in the house or on the property. This includes but is not limited to pellet guns, air guns, hand rifles and shotguns.
