This lovely south facing sunny quad style villa is located in a quiet Cul de Sac on the outskirts of Torrevieja, Jardin del Mar VI on the sunny Costa Blanca. The villa is about 40 km from either Alicante Airport or 60km from the new Murcia (Corvera) airport
Jardin del Mar is in a complex of villas with designated pool areas, situated approx 5 min's drive from Torrevieja town centre and beaches. It can accommodate a maximum of 6 and is available for either short or long term holiday lets throughout the year.
Its southern aspect also makes this a warm villa for winter rentals as well as a total sun-trap for all you sun seekers out there! The large communal pool is for residents only and accessed by an electronic fob.
It is also ideally placed for a short golf break with four courses all within a 20 minute drive of the villa. There are bars, restaurants, two supermarkets, the Habaneras shopping Centre, an Aqua-park, Bowling Alley and Sports Complex all within walking distance. This is a popular area close to salt lakes and nature parks, suitable for walking and cycling. There is a bus stop nearby with a regular bus service to the town centre and blue flag beaches.
The accommodation comprises of three bedrooms, one double and two twins and two bathrooms. One twin bedroom is located on the ground floor next to the downstairs toilet with small shower and sink so ideal for guests who may have mobility problems. It has a fully equipped separate kitchen (Not American style) A travel cot, high chair, buggy and stair gate are available at no extra charge. Parking is right outside the villa. There is a safe available for guests use.
If needed there are hot/cold air con units in the lounge and main bedroom, available on a meter. The lounge has double aspect windows and is very light and airy, it has corner sofa seating with a television attached to the wall on a swivel bracket, providing English TV and Spanish TV channels. There is a collection of music CD's, DVD player and a collection of DVD's , a PS2 with games and a blue tooth speaker so you can play your own favourite music. We offer high-speed fibre optic wi fi free of charge of 20MGB. There is a charging dock with 2 USB sockets.
Beach chairs, inflatables, beach parasol, cool boxes, buckets and spades are available for guests use. (subject to availability) There is also a dining area which seats 6. For your comfort ceiling fans are fitted in all rooms. All of the bedrooms are tastefully decorated with bedside cabinets, fitted wardrobes and plenty of storage space. Bed linen is provided at no additional cost. There is a hairdryer available.
The separate kitchen is equipped with fridge freezer, microwave, hob, oven, toaster, food processor, iron, ironing board, slimline dishwasher and washing machine. At the side of the villa there is a patio area for al fresco dining with a stone built BBQ. There are 2 solarium's, one off the main bedroom and one on the roof with sun loungers, for all day sunshine!
The bathroom is fully tiled and comprises a shower, vanity basin and toilet. There is also a small shower room situated on the ground floor and has a shower, toilet and basin.

Summary: What a beautiful villa, we were a party of six adults and the villa was really comfortable for us. The in-resort manager Jenny was so lovely right from the initial phone call as we left the airport. The villa facilities were more than adequate, I don't think there was anything we could have wanted that wasn't there. The location is excellent, a short walk one way was the Habaneras shopping centre with some lovely shops, a Carrefour and Lidl for groceries, although we found a local supermarket in the opposite direction which we preferred. About a 15 minute walk in the opposite direction to the carrefour are several very good restaurants, our favourite was the Austrian and for people who just need English food there is an English supermarket. A bit further on is our favourite Spanish restaurant Bar Burgos (you can find it on Tripadvisor and Facebook) The beach is beautiful and is walking distance if you like walking, the Park of Nations provides a good resting place to break your journey, failing that there's a bus just round the corner from the villa. I would definitely recommend this villa and would definitely stay here again.
