Positive: Serenity Nest epitomises the property completely. You are staying in a perfect renovated property, some three months new, within the family's grounds. You are less than 1 mile from the buzzing centre of Kotor. Yet are resting in the hills, enjoying cooler breeze, surrounded by fruit trees & vines. With stunning views of the liners in the bay below, arriving into port of Kotor. Daily breakfast on the patio, quickly becomes a favourite of the day. The kindness & helpfulness of the host Marco is best summed up when I asked him to book me a taxi for 7am on the morning of my departure. He offered me a lift & personally brought me to the bus station. A total gentleman, as we would say in Ireland.
Negative: In truth there was no fault. Facilities were modern, clean and brand new AC was highly effective during recent heatwave. 5 minute walk to local supermarket, for fresh bread & ham, was perfect way to start breakfast. Similarly the 20 minute walk into Kotor every evening quickly became part of the holiday ritual. With less than 10 minute, €5 taxi bringing you back home after another fine meal.
Summary: Looking to enjoy Kotor, but wanted relaxing, peaceful location to chill out. Definitely found it
