It is in one of the most beautiful areas of Provence that is located this pleasant vacation rental, arranged in a large farmhouse. A beautiful sunny and gravelly area with table, chairs, parasol and sunbathing, waiting for you to relax in peace while enjoying the warm evenings of the south of France, and take your meals after glutinous tasty local products in the one of the surrounding markets. The Provencal markets are always very lively and picturesque. That of Sablet is held on Friday morning, welcoming a dozen local producers. Pleasant and picturesque wine village, surrounded by ramparts, Sablet languorously extends at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, extraordinary limestone arrows erected in the azure sky and renowned for being a popular walking and climbing site, and the west of the Giant of Provence, the famous Mont Ventoux, whose summit of a lunar whiteness culminates at nearly 2000m of altitude. Its pretty, shady, flower-filled alleyways wind around its 12th century church. Surrounded by the slopes of the Côtes du Rhône, as well as the surrounding villages that dot the Wine Route, Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Rasteau, Séguret, Beaumes-de-Venise or Cairanne, Sablet is renowned for the quality of its wines. You will be able to taste them and acquire some ruby-colored fruity souvenirs, from the different vineyards which punctuate the verdant landscape. In July, the village celebrates the book and welcomes many writers. You will have the opportunity to practice tennis, fishing, hiking, horse riding or cycling, and the most experienced may attempt the ascent of the Ventoux. Do not miss the visit of Vaison-la-Romaine, which is one of the must-see sites in Vaucluse. Archaeological excavations have revealed immense and luxurious Gallo-Roman houses, decorated with mosaics, marble, statues and basins. Climb to the Upper Town, where charming squares, beautiful fountains and the facades of old mansions will watch your strolls. So no doubt, this vacation rental in the Vaucluse is the one you need. Note that two steps lead you to the main room. The two bedrooms are upstairs with the bathroom. The first has three single beds and the other a large wardrobe and a double bed.
