Summary: We spent a very relaxing week at Casa Patrizia. The accommodation was immaculately clean and our host, Barbara, was on hand the morning after we arrived to settle us in (we arrived very late at night). Communication thereafter was extremely efficient via WhatsApp and she was quick to offer restaurant recommendations etc. Having a friendly host really was very helpful and added to our fantastic week. The shared pool was lovely and had a wonderful view, only a very short 1 min walk from the house and the rest of the buildings were picture postcard. Exactly what we were looking for - quintessential Tuscany. The house was extremely well equipped, everything you could need. We particularly enjoyed the patio at the front in the evenings to watch the sunset, and used the larger patio at the back during the day, both have lovely garden furniture. The large sun umbrella at the back was a god send. To note, we were aware there was no AC and there as fans provided in both bedrooms. However, it was still extremely hot at night in the bedrooms (we kept the shutters and windows closed during the day, but opened them at night). The last stretch of track up to the property is very steep and rutted. We were in a very small hire car and had to take 'a run up the hill'. We will definitely be back, we all loved it! Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
