Ancient large villa of 900 square meters, surrounded by nature, near Orvieto, Civita di Bagnoregio, Lake Bolsena. Renovated and furnished in a refined way, preserving the original features. It is usually inhabited by the owners.
The villa has many communal indoor and outdoor spaces, such as lounges, meeting rooms, an outdoor pergola and a large garden. An orchard, a vegetable garden, a small precious vineyard, an olive grove and a large swimming pool make it perfect for families and groups.
The villa, built between the 17th and 19th centuries, has two floors. It has been renovated and furnished with love and care over several years. As it is normally inhabited by the owners, the villa is the opposite of an anonimous space, as it is the case of a hotel and of many Airnb residences. It is nestled in a wide valley, from which you can see only woods and, in the distance, the town of Montefiascone.
On the ground floor there is a separate apartment with a large living room with a fireplace, a kitchen, a twin/double bedroom and a bathroom. Theentrance to this apartment is both internal and external, towards the garden.
Also on the ground floor there is the entrance hall, beyond which is the semi-professional kitchen, in which there is also an antique fireplace.
There is a meeting room for about 60 people with a wooden floor, perfect for yoga, psychotherapy, dance... groups. Or for business meetings.
Still on the same floor we also have a large ancient living room with stone floor and a large fireplace. This was the old horse stable, now we decided to furnish it with a baby grand piano, obviously perfectly tuned. A bathroom set up for also disabled persons and the large veranda are also on this floor.
On the second floor there are four bedrooms, two of which with private bathrooms and two with a shared bathroom.
One bedroom has an antique fireplace and a balcony with a small table and two chairs overlooking the garden, toward the pool.
One of the bedrooms (which can hots up to four persons) has a furnished loft with a window, as well as a sofa bed.
The large old kitchen, with its antique fireplace, is the heart of the villa.
A large living room, a common bathroom, a laundry room and a pantry are also on this floor.
All the floors are in terracotta.
The second floor has wooden floors. A cast-iron stove heats (along with radiators!) its large living room/kitchen.
There are two double bedrooms and a bathroom.
From the floor there is access to a large, very comfortable loft, which, with its many books and games, we have dedicated especially for children.
Outside we have a large bathroom and a pantry.
The villa is nestled on three acres of property, which, however, without fences, stretches as far as the horizon.
The garden is furnished with an outdoor seating area, chairs, benches and a swing, and is graced by a fountain with an illuminated gusher at night.
Outside there is an old wooden bread oven, very capacious and fully functional, in which guests can bake their pizzas.
The large 14x5-meter swimming pool completes the property.
The casale is immersed in a wonderful valley. What you can see are just woods and fields. Yet it is just one mile away from the main road and five minutes from Bagnoregio or Montefiascone.
The villa is halfway between Rome and Siena (1 hour and 15 minutes by car). Civita di Bagnoregio, Orvieto, Bolsena, Montefiascone, Viterbo are just some of the wondeful cities close to the casale. The via Francigena is one mile away. From the casale it is possible to take long peaceful walks in the country and the woods of a regional park. The lake of Bolsena, the biggest vulcanic lake in Europe, is just 15 minutes away by car.
We have comfortable workspaces. A printer connected with the wifi is also available.
In the villa there is also a stereo system, and Alexa is present on all floors.
A semi-professional video projection system with a screen makes it possible to organise a small cinema outdoors or in the large conference room.
