Positive: Fantastic lodge in a picturesque setting. Really homely and spacious and very tranquil. Very private with only 2 other lodges on site. Lovely to wake up to the birds chirping and the swans on the lake! A fabulous wood burner heated hot tub. In a great location. A little piece of heaven. A great place to unwind and re-set. Will definitely be returning!!
Negative: If I was being picky the only things that could be improved would be more kitchenware and stronger lighting on the walk to the hot tub (a torch is provided though!) as we stayed in September with the dark nights setting in early. However, neither were massive issues and we loved our stay here!
Summary: A little piece of heaven...would highly recommend.
