With an entrance shared for Tranquility and Serenity, Whippletree househas managed to accomplish a spa like feel for your stay. Serenity and Tranquility are mirror image rooms with a kitchenette between. Each have their own private ensuite For the bedding, we use all top end linen for the ultimate experience. We want to ensure you have the best experience possible so we stopped at nothing to make your stay luxurious. Many of our amazing guests enjoy their complimentary continental breakfast on theirbalcony overlooking the water & wildlife. Private and beautiful our ensuite has a large glass shower while still offering a separate soaker bathtub. With access to your deck directly off of your room, you can enjoy watching all the different wildlife that thrives in the backyard, on the waterway and even the conservation hiking trails on the other side of the waterway. The hiking trail is small (approximately a km long) but fantastic. Your also welcome to use our kayaks or peddle boat, rules include signing a waiver, life jackets are a necessity andwill be provided. You can also request time to use the shared bbq should you wish to enjoy your meals onsite.
Please be aware the entrance is the front door and you do need to be able to navigate stairs to get to your room.
The town center of Virgil is a short walk down the street and includes a sports bar, a winery restaurant and a few other restaurants. There is also a grocery store, an antique store and many other stores to meet all of your needs.We offer 2 regular pedal bikes for guests use (you need to reserve ahead of time as we have 3 rooms, other guests may have already requested them) or We offer e-bikes for rent. Full day rental only. We offer them for $75 / bike and they are for the whole day. You will need to sign a liability waver for any and use of any bicycle. Otherwise the town has a bus system, download NRT app to sign up (stands for Niagara Regional Transit) and there is always uber as well.
