Positive: The location was fantastic and easy to get to from the airport by bus. The balcony was gorgeous and such a great asset - even though it rained I was able to sit out and enjoy a view of the sea. The bathroom was well equipped and fitted out to a lovely standard. The main centre of Olbia is easily walkable, and there is a large grocery shop very nearby. This is a great spot to stay for a short time as a young solo traveller or a couple.
Negative: There were unfortunately some negatives about the place. - I didn't see a single human the entire stay - the host while at first was very communicative, and said they'd let me know if and when the room was ready for early check in, then went silent, and I had to text them after 3pm to ask for instructions on how to get in. - Security of the building was questionable - the front doors were wide open during the day and the lockbox where you collect the key was broken and didn't actually lock. I don't know why the front doors were open all day when no one was there and the roof bar was not open (another disappointment as the paper in the room suggest a welcome cocktail, but the bar wasn't open the entirety of my 3 day stay). At night, the digital code on the front doors was hard to figure out. - The bed linens and pillows are quite thin and flat. There was no blanket or duvet on the bed which was odd in mid October. They did say they could bring me one, but I ended up just turning the heat on at night. Not the most comfortable experience. - There is a bar at the corner of the street that plays music from mid afternoon until 1am even on weeknights that can be heard in your room even with the balcony doors closed and curtains shut.
Summary: A great balcony and view, good for a quick trip, but not a long stay
