Set in a great location just 500m from the sea front and miles of sandy beaches in the bustling coastal resort and surfer's retreat of Lacanau Ocean 40km west of Bordeaux, with an abundance of shops, restaurants and bars all within a short walk.
This is a traditional chalet style bungalow with 3 bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed, a chest of draws and built in wardrobe.
Bedroom 2 has two single beds and built in wardrobes.
Bedroom 3 has three single beds and built in wardrobes.
There is a family bathroom with bath/shower, hand basin and bidet and there is a separate toilet. The kitchen is well equipped with gas oven and hob, a second rotisserie oven, kettle, coffee machine and toaster, plus plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. The kitchen opens out to the rear garden onto a level wooden decked terrace with table and chairs for up to eight under cover of a a large gazebo making it ideal for al fresco dining.
The lounge/dining room is to the front and opens out onto the shaded front terrace with further table and chairs for when you’ve had enough of the sun. There is a family dining table and chairs for up 8, an L shaped sofa, Satellite TV, fire stick, DVD player and Zeppelin sound bar with iPod connection.
There is a utility room off the kitchen with a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, there is a storage cabinet with microwave oven, wine and beer glasses and tumblers, children’s cups and plates etc and most of the other household items you may need during your stay.
To the rear of the property is an 8m x 4m swimming pool with a maximum depth of 1.5m. There is a raised wooden sun deck with 4 sun loungers which enjoys the sunshine throughout the day, but there is also plenty of shade and privacy to be found under the surrounding trees and shrubs. The garden is fenced all round and we welcome guests with well behaved pets in the knowledge that their keepers take full responsibility to clear up after them.
The house is located in the south side of town and the beach and all amenities are within easy walking distance from the property. There is a gated driveway with parking for one car and also the possibility to park on the road in front of the house without parking fee.
Our property is available to rent by the week, with change over on Saturday only, due to the need to pre-book our cleaning contractor.
