THE ACCOMMODATION:
Built in 1957, the “Bois de Vie” villa is the oldest accommodation in Grand Fond. Its architecture is largely inspired by the oldest traditional buildings on Reunion Island. Its privileged location by the ocean and its unique and exotic style recall the wild environments of Madagascar or Bali.
The villa has been designed to combine authenticity, simplicity and great comfort. It is a place of positive hospitality that respects the environment to the delight of guests.
Its high roof, its natural openings and its wooded patio protect you from hot weather. You can therefore, if you wish, stay without air conditioning.
The "Bois de Vie" experience offers you two worlds: the first facing the ocean, where you will be transported by the beauty of the landscape and the sound of the waves and the second, at the back, with a garden, calm and fresh, a haven of peace and meditation.
The villa has plenty of storage space in all the rooms. The beds are all equipped with high quality bedding (TEMPUR et TRECA ROYAL).
The villa is arranged as follows:
✅ A fully equipped kitchen designed for your stay, with all the crockery, glassware and kitchen utensils, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, microwave, oven, dishwasher, American fridge, freezer; an adjoining cellar with washing machine.
✅ A large living room, dining room and reading room, with flat screen TV, and internet connection.
✅ A master bedroom, with a 180x200 bed, a small living room with TV, a dressing room, a private bathroom with bathtub, a separate toilet and a Balinese shower.
✅ Four other bedrooms, three of which overlook the garden: two with Queen size bed and two with double bed
✅ A very large bathroom, on the garden side, equipped with a shower and double washbasin with WC. A hair dryer is at your disposal.
✅ A large terrace with outdoor dining under a thatched roof gazebo and outdoor lounge facing the sea.
Note that the villa is entirely air-conditioned.
