Positive: The location is perfect for those who like a really quiet and remote place. The mountains and the sea were absolutely fantastic and the place was not crowded. The villa is cozy, has everything inside, and the bedrooms are one with the mountain view and the other with the sea view. The sunsets are absolutely fantastic, and we could also see the shooting stars and the turtle laying eggs on our private beach. The host is very friendly and helpful. We appreciated that Christian quickly reacted to our issue with the oven, and we couldn't switch it on. The private beach is beautiful but rocky for swimming, so we used either Pomos beach in the village of Pomos or Santa Barbara Beach in Argaka village. There's also a great variety of taverns and restaurants in Argaka village, beachfront, with good food and good prices. I can also recommend Latchi beach, which is a little bit further, but still 17 mins drive from Athena villa.
Negative: We liked everything. For an ideal vacation, we missed the pool for the kid.
