Villa Angela is a charming mansion situated in panoramic position just a few steps from the city centre of Stresa.
The villa is surrounded by an amazing terraced garden with a beautiful swimming pool (10,00 x 5,00 mt.) with multicolor-led lights, a slide and a shower with hot water.
The swimming pool, placed among a well kept lawn, is equipped with single and double sunbeds with canopy.
Next to the swimming pool and under the shade of a magnificent tree there is a dining table for 16 people and an imposing barbecue (mobile). All this area is the heart of the house in summer where everybody can enjoy the spare time in relax and delight.
Villa Angela boasts also an amazing terrace with a breathtaking view of the lake and the Isola dei Pescatori.
This awesome area is equipped with a dining table for 16 people, an outdoor sofa with chaise longue and a small table under the shade of a big umbrella (300x200cm). Enjoying delicious meals or drinking cocktails in front of such a beautiful view is a really unique experience.
Villa Angela is located in one of the most elegant and pictoresque touristic resorts on Lake Maggiore.
The villa is happily situated just 10 minutes walk from the centre of Stresa and 500 mt from the train station.
The Villa is a 5-minute walk from the LIDO, where you find:
- the lakeside promenade that takes you to the center of STRESA in 10 minutes
- boats to the Borromeo Islands
- the cable car to the mottarone (mountain).
The shores, the enchanting lakefront walkaway and all the transports for the tours are very close and reachable in few minutes of pleasing walk.
Stresa is famous for the beauty of nature as well as for the amazing noble palaces and architectural creations of the Borromean Islands. This group of islands, still owned by the Borromeo family, bring tourists from all over the world eager to visit the Isola dei Pescatori (the Fishermen island the only one with residents), the Isola Madre (the Mother island) which hosts a vast colony of exotich birds kept free in its lush gardens and the last and most famous the Isola Bella ( Bella Island short for Isabella Borromeo).
This third island became suddenly famous, because the best architects in the world converted into a paradise a piece of land in the middle of the lake.
Isola Bella has on its grounds a royal palace and a pyramidal terraced garden which is enflowered all over the year.
Sport lovers can ski on mount Mottarone which offers a ski area for beginners and experts. In summertime one of the biggest attractions for kids and parents is the breathtaking descent on the extraordinary bobsled roller coaster (1200 mt) from the top of the mountain to the lake level.

This enchanting property (over 400 sq) is set up on 3 floors (the third is an attic), sleeps up to 16 people and has 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.
Villa Angela has been renovated in 2012 according to the style of the original architecture of the house and with a very elegant selection of the furniture.
Ground Floor: a wide and bright hall welcomes the guests, introducing a delightful sitting room with cozy armchairs and a 55-inch smart TV. This little sitting room is placed in a lovely bow window boasting a terrific view which enrich this room in charm and light where it's a pleasure to converse, relax or read one of the many books of the library. Following, in a wide open space area there is the master sitting room where there is a majestic red corner sofa embracing an original fireplace (not working) and a 55-inch smart TV, offering a vast bouquet of channel in several languages.
This wide living area, which is very bright thanks to all the windows overlooking the lake and the garden, ends into another elegant bow window where there is a charming dining room with a table for 16 people and a breathtaking view.
The floor is completed by a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, freezer, fridge, espresso coffee machine, american coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster etc.) with a lovely corner for light breakfast and accessible also from the garden. On this floor there is also a useful guest bathroom. The night area is on the upper floors and it is furnished with very large beds in order to offer the best comfort and relax.
First floor: the floor is made up of 4 bedrooms: 1 double bedroom with a king size bed, its bathroom with jacuzzi and a terrace overlooking the lake and the Isola dei Pescatori.
Follow, 2 twin bedrooms (the beds can be put together in a king size bed) with a shared bathroom (shower and garden view). One of the twin bedrooms boasts an awesome terrace with a terrific view of the lake and the Isola dei Pescatori. The 4th and last bedroom of the first floor is a twin bedroom (the beds can be put together in a king size bed), with its bathroom equipped with wide shower and garden view.
Second floor (attic): a comfy staircase leads to the attic at the second floor which is made up of 1 double bedroom with king size bed overlooking the lake and the Isola dei Pescatori. and another double bedroom (beds can be split). Both the double bedrooms share a huge bathroom with jacuzzi and lake view. There is also another bedroom for 4 guests. This bedroom is an open space area furnished with 2 twin beds (the beds can be put together in a king size bed) plus 2 twin (regular size) beds and its own bathroom with wide shower and garden view.
In the cellar there is the washing machine, the dryer and the ironing set.
The city of Stresa is crossed by the railway line therefore we warn that there are transit trains for this villa as well as for the rest of nearby properties
The villa however is equipped with double glazing. Included free fiber optic Wi-Fi Internet connection. All bedrooms have 42-inch smart TVs with satellite and a bouquet of channels in several languages.
In the two living rooms there is a 55-inch smart TV.
There is no air conditioning because the house is naturally cool and airy. Each bedroom has a fan.

Villa Angela boasts a location perfect to enjoy the charming Stresa and its beauties. Its dominant but not isolated position makes this property the ideal place to choose for vacation and able to offer relax, water sports, attractions and tours. The property itself is comfortable and is particularly suitable for families or group of friends who elected Stresa and Lake Maggiore as their holidays destination.
