Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Iris is a lovely host, lives in the next house so she's always available. The garden is huge and the view from the house is fantastic. There is air condition in almost every room so you can easily warm up or cool down the house.

Negative: It's a 20 minute drive from the city centre, right at the edge of the town but we knew that. Car is the only way to get to the heart of Graz so prepare to pay the parking fees. The old and rustic building has only one bathroom and it can be uncomfortable to go down the steep stairs when you need to go to the toilet in the night. The doorways are very low, maybe about 170 cm so adults should always watch their heads.
