Perched above Okanagan Lake in-between Kelowna and Vernon in the lovely district of Lake Country BC you will find your vacation home while you spin your okanagan adventure into action.
There is a wonderful selection of beaches close to our location including Pebble Beach 2 minute drive down past Gray Monk, offering scenic walks along the beach with no development on the lake side (virtually unheard of anymore). There is also a renowned vegetarian restaurant called the Salted Caramel, The Museum restaurant as well as a couple ice cream shops to choose from. The world famous Kalamalka Lake (lake of many colours) as well as Wood Lake are a short drive away.
You will be located within the "scenic sip" portion of the wine tour. Here foodies and wine lovers will appreciate the world class wineries and restaurants. Walking distance to Ex Nihilo, Arrowleaf and Gray Monk Estate wineries and a short drive from many more including the highly touted "Block One" at 50th Parallel Estate winery. Aside from wineries the homemade pasta at the intimate and always popular (make reservations) L'Isola Bella Restaurante and the Greek House Restaurant are fantastic!
Park off the street or at the top of the driveway with adequate space for a boat if desired (please mention at booking). Stroll down flagstone stairs past the cascading waterfall to your own private walkout suite. An expansive deck with plenty of room to chat or lounge about. Perhaps a latte or cappuccino from the Nespresso machine, or English tea in the garden sitting area with the sound of the waterfall in the background while looking out over the lake and mountains.
Unwind and decompress in the circular hot tub with all the sounds of nature and stars overhead it will loosen you up for your next big okanagan adventure.
An open floor plan invites you to enjoy your family holiday or your romantic getaway in style. An eclectic mix of modern accents and practical comforts combine to provide a welcoming and memorable experience.
Cork flooring throughout and natural organic cleaning methods provide an environment w free from harsh chemical odours and providing as close to a hypoalergenic space as possible.
The living room has a leather pullout couch with a queen mattress and down topper for added comfort. The bedroom boats a kingsized bed and a walk-in closet...makes it feel like a home when your luggage is out of site.
The area is rich with locally made products stands produce markets . Friday evening there is a small local farmers market or enjoy the larger version in Kelowna on Saturday only a short drive away.
Enjoy hiking at Jack Seaton Park or to the highest point at Spinekop mountain for a lookout view of the entire area. Lake Country is an unforgettable place to make memories and keep you coming back to make more.
For families with children we have a free local splash park just minutes away as well as a many amazing beaches orchards and farms...DONT MISS THE KANGAROO ZOO!!!
For golfers the Jack Nicholas Designed “Bear” course at the Okanagan Golf Club or tee it up at the 36 hole championship, Predator Ridge Club both under 15 minutes by car.
