Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: I had a very enjoyable stay at The Royal. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food and drink were excellent and the beer was top quality. The bed was comfortable and the shower good. The whole place was clean and comfortable. The neighbour hood was quiet, despite being close to the centre of town.

Negative: Communication could have been a little better but any questions I had were dealt with quickly and to my satisfaction. The room was quite small, with nowhere to put clothes or hang anything, but it was adequate for a solo traveller.

Summary: Lovely pub and accommodation in a great town.
