The Pink Lemon is a charming 1947 bungalow that has been restored to its original charm but with updated amenities. The interior is decorated with items that reflect the past and feels open and bright. The patio has areas for dining and relaxing and a firepit with Adirondack chairs for those cool evenings. The house sits on a double lot and has a new patio, sidewalks, and a driveway that accommodates plenty of parking, including RV or boat trailer.
The space
The Pink Lemon has a welcoming, enclosed sun porch that is fully conditioned yet allows the numerous windows to be opened on those perfect days. You’ll find that most of your time will be spent on the porch enjoying coffee, wine, playing games, reading, or just relaxing. The porch is furnished with a dining table and 4 chairs at one end and 4 comfy chairs arranged for socializing or watching the world go by.
The living room has a comfortable leather couch and 2 chairs for relaxing, reading, napping or watching Smart TV. You will also find games stored in the console under the TV. The living room leads into the dining room that is open to the kitchen and has 2 more comfy chairs that allow guests to sit and visit with guests that may be cooking in the kitchen. The dining table normally seats 4 guests but may be opened/expanded to accommodate 2 more guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, microwave, crockpot, flatware, dishes, and cookware. There is no need to purchase bottled water for drinking. There is a reverse osmosis system that provides 99.9% pure drinking water and ice utilizing a separate faucet at the kitchen sink and at the refrigerator for ice and water.
The laundry room behind the kitchen features a full-sized washer and dryer with complimentary laundry detergent pods, dryer sheets and extra towels. There is a laundry sink for handwashing bathing suits after a day at the beach. The microwave is on the countertop on the other side of the laundry room to allow more counterspace for cooking and entertaining in the kitchen. The half bath is equipped with a vanity sink and medicine cabinet that provides additional room for storage of toiletries.
There are 2 bedrooms with Queen Size beds. One bedroom has a roomy closet with plenty of hanging space and the other bedroom has a dresser. In the main bath you’ll find a shower and a separate soaking tub. There is a medicine cabinet and open shelving for guests’ toiletries. The outdoor shower is large, enclosed, has a bench, lots of room for hanging things, and hot and cold water. This shower allows guests to rinse off in the outdoor shower after time at the beach to keep sand out of the house.
There is a key on a pink key ring hanging in the laundry room for the shed where you will find cushions for the patio furniture (couch cushions are in container behind the couch). Also provided are 2 beach cruiser bicycles, lock, and helmets. If you’re going to the beach, you’ll find beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler, boogie boards, sand toys, and shell collecting tools for your use.
