The Copper House is private and yet the design provides superb views - especially from the Eagle's Nest (the upper master suite).

There are many key design elements that make this home special. From the expansive commercial size European tilt and turn windows and doors to the Asian influenced timber structures; from the amazing "inside/out" stone wall that has climbing holds on the exterior to the stunning great room that is a bridge from the main house to the billiard room and bar. At the same time, this has been and remains a much loved family home which results in design excellence meeting coziness. You will feel immediately welcome and at home at the Copper House.

The Copper House sleeps 10 - 12 very comfortably. It is ideally situated just minutes away from the gondola, cross-country ski and snow-shoe trails as well as the top restaurants at Kicking Horse Mountain resort - Peaks Grill, The Double Black Cafe and the Winston Pub. The Copper House is at the gateway of many of Western Canada's spectacular national parks - Yoho, Kootenay, Glacier and of course, Banff National Park. You are close to both the Lake Louise Ski Area and Revelstoke Mountain Resort with respective drive times of 40 minutes (Lake Louise) and 90 minutes (Revelstoke).

The house itself is ideal for entertaining and also provides privacy for all guests given the design and layout. You will find yourself captivated by the the walk-in size wood-burning fireplace or luxuriating the over-the-top Bain Ultra jacuzzi in the Eagle's Nest master suite complete with heated back-warmer. Catch up on your favourite Netflix series in the big screen media room and for those who love the gym, enjoy a HIIT workout in the fully appointed gym complete with TV and outstanding views. If work must accompany you, find solitude in one of the two offices in the home; one of which has a TV and a printer for your use (but try not to have Bloomberg on 24/7). The second office space is located in the Eagle's Nest master suite and while there is no TV, there is a fireplace and beautiful corner windows that look out to the trees and the mountain. The large double garage is home to a boot and mitt dryer as well as a work bench for ski or bike tuning. There is more than enough storage for all of your gear!

The gourmet kitchen complete with two Miele dishwashers, a Sub-Zero wine fridge, Wolf double ovens and 4 burner range will win any cook's heart over. There is a large eating nook, kitchen island seating and a large dining table that seats 10 comfortably. You will find everything you need to prepare an amazing feast or bake to your heart's content. The home will be well stocked for your arrival (please see inventory list) and of course, we are happy to provide other items you may require at an a la carte charge. The outdoor spaces at the Copper House are very special. The large deck off of the kitchen and great room area has a BBQ, an outdoor dining table that seats 10 and additional seating for enjoying that morning coffee and the spectacular views. The private deck off of the Eagle's Nest Master bedroom is the perfect place to catch the early morning sun on the lounge chair. The covered flagstone patio on the walk-out level of the home is very private and provides shelter for the beautiful 10 person hot tub as well as additional seating. This is a great place to beat the heat in the summer months either reading in the Adirondack chairs or lazing in the hammock.

The Copper House has a number of home automation features - stream your own beats, listen to pre-stored music or the radio throughout the house at the touch of a button. The automated lights in the stairway mean you will never be fumbling for the switch and everyone from Grandma to the wee ones will be safe in the night.

In the summer months, the CBT, Moonraker and Mountain Shadows cross country mountain biking trails await as well as a great loop in the Blaeberry for Road biking and unparalleled kilometres of gravel biking. The amazing Golden Golf Course (and mini-golf!) and high alpine hiking, downhill biking and the Via Ferrata at Kicking Horse Mountain resort. In Golden you can visit many of the local shops on the Main Street, great local restaurants and then stop in at the Whitetooth Brewery for a flight of beers or some growlers to take back up the hill. Additionally, there are many hiking trails in and around Golden and you are close to wonderful Yoho National Park to the East. The Kicking Horse and Columbia rivers have white water rafting and canoeing for all levels. And recently opened is the Golden Skybridge – Canada’s highest suspension bridge.
