Sunnyslope Retreat is a private apartment on the garden level of our home in the quiet Sunnyslope neighborhood, and is perfect for 1 or 2 people. The entrance is at the rear of the house, with access down the left-side driveway.
Newly renovated (summer 2017), the large living area has comfortable furniture, 42" flat screen TV with Roku streaming (access Netflix, Hulu, HBO, etc.), ceiling fans and blackout window shades on the large picture window (this side of the house gets morning sun). We love the new wood plank ceiling and know our guests will enjoy the cozy gas fireplace.
There is a kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, coffeepot, electric kettle, blender, toaster and slow cooker (no oven or stovetop). We provide for your convenience coffee, tea, cream and sugar, salt and pepper. You'll find dishes and other meal prep utensils. Bathroom sink doubles as a kitchen sink with dishwashing supplies and a drying rack. There is a dining table and chairs.
The spacious bedroom/office has a queen-size Sleep Number bed, ceiling fan, plus plenty of drawer and cabinet space and a closet. It is business-ready, with desk and counter space, office chair, and wifi.
The bathroom is completely new and has a shower with seat (no tub), toilet, vanity and a shelf unit where guests can store their toiletries. For your convenience, we provide shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.
