A very nice and sunny apartment just a few steps from Piazza Navona, located on the second floor of a nice building with no elevator.
The apartment is about 50 sqm, completely renovated in December 2017, it features some beautiful antique pieces and a characteristic roman wooden ceiling; the property is composed by a large living room with wooden table and a double sofa bed, sleeping area divided by the living by a sliding door with double bed, a fully equipped kitchenette with an electric oven bathroom with bathtub with handled shower. The apartment also features a nice terrace facing the inside courtyard equipped with table and chairs for enjoy al fresco meals. It comes complete with linens, air conditioning, washing machine, internet wifi, TV LCD stereo HIFI an CD.
The area: The apartment is situated in the Navona zone. In the Antiquity this district, was part of Campus Martius. Domitian (AD 81-96) built a large stadium and an Odeon where poetry readings and musical concerts were given. Except for the outline of Domitian’s Stadium which is preserved in the shape of Piazza Navona, no traces of ancient Rome have survived here.
Few minutes’ walk from the apartment there is Piazza Campo de fiori, wonderful square were every morning there is an open market with fish, vegetable etc.. The apartment location is perfect for those clients that wish to visit the Eternal city by walk, some of the most famous sites can be reached in less than 20 minutes walking such as Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi fountain, Vatican, and Trastevere area a characteristic and traditional area full of nice restaurants with great night life.
Public transport: The apartment is 15 minutes walk from the underground station “Spagna” and it is well served by the ATAC bus lines 70,81,87,186,492,628 and by the electric bus lines 116 and 116T. The closer train station is Termini about 20 minutes by bus line 70.
