Travel Purpose: business
Positive: The apartment is close to the old town, a short walk away. Just about everything you could think of is supplied and the apartment is a good size for two, inlcuding separate toilet and en-suite shower. The air conditioning was a blessing; we just put it on on our return each day (the ambient temperature during our stay was around 28C+ in the daytime). Dedicated parking just outside was also a benefit and the neighbours are either invisible or polite, but either way no hassle!
Negative: There are a couple of fish processing facilities a few doors down, so it's a bit 'fragrant' when you open doors and windows. The combined oven refused to power up after its first use and the dishwasher never worked as the cover for the detergent receptacle would not latch. This would not have been such an issue had the sink had a proper drainer and drying rack to stack cutlery and crockery. The heated towel rail did not work, despite plugging it in to try it. This meant towels were not drying during the day, unless placed outside, and assuming it would not rain, which it did! We used a couple of local food delivery companies via Thuisbezorgd; both were quite expensive and with one the food was only just warm (Mr. Li's); the other (Podomoro) was OK, but as said quite expensive.
Summary: A lovely, well appointed/located apartment with a few small niggles.
