Summary: The home was not as clean as I would have preferred. However, construction took place just three feet from the front door all day, making it difficult to maintain cleanliness. They asked us to remove our shoes, but doing so left our feet feeling dirty and disgusting. Furthermore, the construction was not mentioned in the listing, and on our first morning, we were abruptly awakened at 6:45 AM by loud banging right outside the property. I was disappointed with our stay because I would not have chosen a place with ongoing construction just three feet from the front door, especially knowing that we had active toddlers and other guests coming and going throughout the day. The parking and driveway situation was very limiting and not ideal, particularly with construction vehicles parked in the driveway, which restricted access to the property. The host was very responsive and apologetic; however, it would have been best to inform guests about these situations in advance so they could make a more informed decision when choosing to stay at your property. Ultimately, the home accommodated our family, and we made it work, but it was not a relaxing or ideal experience.
