Less than 5 minutes walk from La Sorbonne, Luxembourg Garden and Le Pantheon, and 10 minutes walking from Notre Dame de Paris
It is very close to many restaurants, bars and to public transportation, especially ""Odeon"" subway station.

Summary: The location is ideal, within a 5 min walk of the St. Michel Bridge and Notre Dame. Very secure, 4 separate door codes gain entry to the courtyard, building, first floor (after climbing 30 steps - no lift) and finally the apartment. The code was mistakenly changed on my last full day and only a phone call to the manager (international call rates for US residents) was able to reset that code. Those with large amounts of luggage will find it difficult, due to the steps and narrow hallways to the apartment. I travel light and found the steps better than those of the Metro. As for the Metro, the Cluny - Sobborne station is across the street. ATMs, a grocery store, and Starbucks are all only a few steps away.
