Positive: This was an absolutely gorgeous place to stay. The camper is beautiful, with all necessary amenities and very comfortable. The outside area is super with lots of seating, the fire pit was brilliant and we cooked up a storm on the grill! The location is fantastic - literally on the beach with beautiful waters to swim and snorkel in - there were so many varieties of fish even very close to the shore! The camper is a short walk to the West End with many restaurants/bars etc, but is far enough away to be beautifully quiet at night and dark enough for proper star-gazing. The hosts were incredibly helpful with information about both the camper itself and the local area. The tours/activities they suggested were excellent, we did the snorkeling and Chocolate making, booked as recommended with Dani at the Roatán Tour Guide Association, both were exceptional. This was an incredible holiday, and everything we hoped it would be as a honeymoon/anniversary/babymoon (even 6 months pregnant the whole set up was incredibly comfortable for me!!) Thank you so much Sal and Turk - cannot recommend this stay enough!!
Negative: Bring/buy bug spray - the mosquitos are relentless but can't be helped! Once or twice people walked through the campsite as a shortcut. One guy apologised that he didn't realise we were there but another guy went through on his motorbike while we were in the hammocks. Fencing/gate at the back might prevent that? While the camper area itself was pristine and regularly cleared unfortunately the areas either side were not as well maintained and had some amount of rubbish. Obviously this is not the fault of the hosts but was a shame.
