River's Edge | Experience Maroon Bells @ T-Lazy 7 | Cabin in Aspen

1 Bedroom Cabin in Aspen
Tucked beneath towering pines along Maroon Creek, River’s Edge Cabin offers front-row views of rushing water, roaming wildlife, and the wilderness beyond. This self-contained, cozy studio cabin at T-Lazy-7 Ranch directly borders the world-famous Maroon Bells, a 5-minute drive away. With a queen bed by the fire, peaceful creekside seating, and guided adventures at your doorstep, it’s the perfect blend of solitude and high-country spirit in the heart of Aspen’s untamed beauty.
Out where the road ends and the wilderness begins, River’s Edge Cabin sits quietly beneath the trees—its floor-to-ceiling windows facing the roar of Maroon Creek, where moose meander and birdsong fills the air. Part of the storied T-Lazy-7 Ranch, a working ranch since 1938 and a fixture of Aspen’s high-country history, this cabin is more than a place to stay—it’s a chance to truly live in the landscape.
Sheltered on the edge of the Maroon Bells–Snowmass Wilderness, this studio-style cabin is the closest non-camping accommodation to the iconic Maroon Bells, just six miles away. Whether you’re here to explore or simply exhale, the space invites you to settle in and stay awhile.
Inside, a plush queen bed faces a warm electric fire, so you can wake to the sound of the creek and the sight of passing wildlife—foxes, bobcats, elk, and bears have all been known to wander by. The kitchenette is thoughtfully equipped with a microwave, mini fridge, sink, and two-seater dining table perfectly placed to enjoy meals with a view.
Lounge on the indoor chaise with the fire glowing or follow the gravel path down to your private riverside seating area, where you can sip coffee, listen to the water, and watch the light shift across the forest in complete privacy. It’s quiet here, but never dull.
Just a short walk away, the ranch’s adventure center offers guided snowmobile tours in winter, horseback rides, and e-bike rentals in summer. For a scenic ride, hop on an e-bike and cruise the six-mile stretch to Maroon Lake, where the Bells rise like a painting brought to life.
Whether you’re chasing snow or wildflowers, solitude or inspiration, the River’s Edge Cabin offers a one-of-a-kind stay in the wild heart of Aspen.
