Summary: We were supposed to get the door code emailed to us at check in. It never came. Had a conversation with Italianway staff, whom I could barely hear because there was so much noise in the office. She said it was emailed and that I should have it. After 15 minutes back and forth she finally sent another one. All this is going on while we were standing in 34C on the street in front of the apartment. To add insult to injury we had to carry two heavy suitcases up 3 floors to a flat that was not air conditioned. No where did I read that it was a third floor walk up with no AC. My wife and I are in our mid seventies and found the whole ordeal extremely difficult. I might add that I am married to an Italian and we have lived in Italy for the past 20 years so we know what to expect when traveling. On a good note, the flat was clean and located in a convenient location.
