Gracefully perched on the edge of the tallest peak of Homer's bluff system, this cozy seaside abode is new construction, on property that has been in my family for three generations. Enjoy 360 degree, breathtaking views of Kachemak Bay, the majestic mountains, and the infamous Homer Spit. The home is custom built, with original, local works of art, handmade furniture, heated floors, and handmade furniture. The stone countertops are embedded with pieces of gold, and mineral concentrates from the owner's gold mining business below the Arctic Circle. It also includes a full kitchen.
In 2020 we really focused on outdoor space and developing the luxury experience. Relax in our new, spacious, private natural gas sauna - designed and hand-built by local craftsmen. And enjoy our new live-edge custom outdoor bench seating with private propane fire pit on cool evenings!
This intricately-crafted dwelling awaits to offer you a peaceful oasis, with privacy to soak in the phenomenal scenery of Alaska's most beautiful city, yet is a convenient, five minute drive from the base of the infamous Homer Spit, where the unique shops and charter boats await you.
I joyfully welcome you into this space, which I host from afar, as I work seasonally up in Nome, Alaska, as a gold miner on Discovery Channel's Bering Sea Gold. Please contact me if you foresee any difficulty climbing a ladder to access the sleeping loft, or if you're concerned about the proximity to the bluff, which does have a security barrier.
