Positive: The place is nice and big. We had 20 people and it did not feel crowded. Having the bar and pool table downstairs, plus the extra refrigerator next to the bar worked well. There is a building across the street the blocks much of the ocean view, but you can still see the ocean. The best view is on the 3rd floor. It’s a very short golf cart ride to the public beach area in front of the crab shack. The golf cart is an extra charge.
Negative: This place had and still had when we left, many maintenance problems. The gas stove top didn’t work. The management company was quick to replace it, but created a gas leak in the process. This literally could have killed us. Some members of my family got sick. Ultimately, the gas company came out late at night and fixed the problem. The front bedroom, used to be a garage, would never cool below 85 degrees. The management company installed a one room AC unit with a vented exhaust out the window. The other lower bedroom bathroom had a really bad smell. The drywall in the bathroom was deteriorated due to a water leak at some point. This was never fixed, but putting bleach down the shower drain helped eliminate the smell. The master bedroom shower has a missing tile and you can not regulate the water temperature. The sliding glass doors close at the top but the is a 1/4 inch open gap at the bottom. In the room with multiple beds, there was a hole in the drywall. The carpet in the master bedroom needed to be cleaned. The dishwasher downstairs in the bar, leaked water all over the floor. Pretty sure a replacement dishwasher was ordered, but not in time for us to use it. The main refrigerator in the kitchen does not dispense water. The staircase has a cracked tile. A window in the front was cracked. The pool waterfall structure is cracked on both sides. The refrigerator on the patio, third level, didn’t work when we arrived. It was replaced.
