Here you live in a cozy little cottage next to an old mill pond and close to a lake. You can drive to the sea with the lovely archipelago in 15 minutes.
The house consists of a hallway with a hanging section for clothes. To the left is the bathroom with both toilet and shower. The living room is open up to the ridge, which creates space. The room is furnished with a double bed, a dining table and a TV. Next door you will find the handy little kitchen with windows facing the pond. In the loft there is a mattress on the floor, where a child can most conveniently sleep. On both the front and back of the house there are covered patios that you can stay at. Both have views of the pleasant pond.
The surrounding area is scenic and rich in history and is close to the nature reserve Norra Göten with hiking trails. The lake Kvarngölen is next door, where you will find a rowing boat that is shared with SE05048 and SE05050. The old mill building has today been converted into a small power station and in a separate part you have access to both a sauna with a relaxation area and a washing machine. These are also shared with SE05048 and SE05050.
Things to see and do in the local area
The idyllic coastal town of Figeholm, 16 km is well worth a visit. Oskarshamn town centre with shops and restaurants is a 15-minute drive away. The beautiful summer town of Västervik, which has been named Sweden's best summer city in 2020 and 2021, is only 48 km away. There are plenty of nice restaurants, shops and events in the summer. If you feel like a day trip in the archipelago, the ferry to Idö and Hasselö departs from the harbour. The holiday home is also within a reasonable distance (72 km) for day trips to Vimmerby with the theme park Astrid Lindgren's World and Vimmerby adventure park with high rope course. You can also take the opportunity to visit Småland's Kingdom of Crystal with its many art glass cabins and above all Kosta Glassworks with its shopping mall and famous design hotel.
