In addition to being only a stroll to Killarney's world famous lakes this property is also adjacent to Killarney National park, home of the majestic McGillycuddy Reeks, the highest mountain range in Ireland. Located on the Wild Atlantic Way Killarney is know as a 'gateway' to the Region and provides guests with a perfect base from which to take day trips including the Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula, Ring of Beara and much more. Local activities include fishing, hill walking, cycling, Kayaking, horse riding to mention a few. We would be delighted to offer our guests any advice or recommendations on our local attractions.

The Kerry Region is famous for its golf courses and has long since attracted Golfers from around the world and Killarney is the ideal base. Killarney Golf & Fishing Club (Host to the Irish Open in 2010 & 2011), Kenmare, Ballybunion (World class links course), Tralee and Waterville are just some of the courses that can be found in the county of Kerry and indeed the famous Old Head of Kinsale course is also only a short drive away .
