Nestled in the foothills of Grantham Mountain, Blue Forest Farm Estate is an extraordinary 326-acre vacation rental and event space located in Plainfield, New Hampshire. This location is a completely private and unique setting, perfect for hosting a wide array of events from yoga retreats, mindfulness gatherings, small social parties, corporate functions, including family getaways & reunions. Unique for it's grounds (including expansive rolling lawns, heirloom fruit trees, scenic ponds, babbling brooks, gorgeous mountain views, and miles of private hiking trails meandering through the surrounding woodlands) Blue Forest is a year-round experience, being truly spectacular in any season that New England has to offer.
For those who enjoy the snowy weather months, this private estate is ideal for winter activities such as snow shoeing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and ice skating here onsite with access to our network of private tails, as well as being perfectly positioned to enjoy nearby popular ski resorts such as Storrs Hills, Whaleback, and Mt. Sunapee, being only 1 hour from Killington, VT. It is an unparalleled experience for all nature lovers, where you can enjoy unlimited opportunities to relax in the beauty of picture postcard perfection. Blue Forest is an ideal location to host your next gathering or family adventure! Plainfield is a great location for folks who want to be removed and yet relatively close to the city, being only two hours from Boston. From fresh spring blossoms, to lush summer greenery, world-famous fall foliage, and pristine white winters, we offer a year-round setting that is unlike any other.
THE LUXURY BARN AT BLUE FOREST
The Barn sleeps a total of four people with two guests in each identical king-sized luxury bedroom on the first floor, with additional sleeping spaces on the California King loungers located on the third floor in a large open mezzanine area. Bringing the total guest count to 6-8 people max for an additional fee. There are three floors total, the first floor has two bedrooms each with California King sized beds complete with heated floors for extra comfort, an indoor gym, a large bathroom with a rainfall shower and built-in sauna room, as well as a dressing area and washer/dryer. Both bedrooms are complete with large windows displaying an immersive view of the manicured lawns and beautiful surrounding ponds.
The second level of the Barn is designed with fabulous hardwood floors & french doors at either end of the space leading to an upper lawn on one side, and a balcony that overlooks the landscape on the other. Surrounding windows showcase views of the property in all directions, including the Guesthouse located on the other end of the estate. Upstairs on the second floor is a well-equipped galley-style kitchen, with an adjacent Japanese style bathroom, a full shower and luxurious soaking bathtub. On either side of the open dining area is a separate movie theater space, a yoga/meditation room, and a music recording studio complete with a vocal isolation chamber.
The third level of the Barn is an open mezzanine that wraps around and overlooks the second floor down below. It is a wide open loft-style space with California King loungers that sleeps 2 extra guests. On the top floor there is also another small bathroom, including gaming tables, such as foosball, ping pong and a lovely poker table. Heating is available during the winter months, and in the warmer weather you may enjoy the light breeze, we offer standing fans to keep air flowing to your desire.
The Luxury Barn may be rented as a package deal along with our Guesthouse, or additional services inside of the Luxury Barn may be added along with your stay. Inquire with us today!
THE GUESTHOUSE AT BLUE FOREST
The Guesthouse sleeps a total of 6 adults and three children. Two guests are able to sleep comfortably in each of the three bedrooms, with the ability to sleep up to three children in the downstairs kids space complete with a full/twin bunk bed combo. Two additional people may be added for an additional fee. There are four bedrooms total. The two upstairs rooms are fully furnished with very comfortable queen sized beds, and the downstairs room holds a luxury king size bed set-up. The fourth bedroom has a full/twin combo bunk bed best suited for children, with a television in both downstairs sleeping areas complete with Netflix, Hulu & Gaia TV.
Upstairs there are two separate bathrooms, with one that is located in between each of the two master bedrooms and the second that is next to the open concept living room space which has a sonos surround sound system for playing music at your leisure. Downstairs off of the kids area there is a third bathroom, complete with a sauna that is perfect for unwinding & relaxing. Off of the living area is a wrap around dining room & large gourmet kitchen with ample seating for 14, perfect for entertaining family & friends. Off of the kitchen are giant french doors that open up to the outdoor fire-pit & gazebo area/stone terrace which has a fully functioning barbecue and outdoor seating area. Our terrace overlooks the swimming pond, which guests are encouraged to enjoy in the warmer months and an authentic Japanese "Tea House" nestled on the edge of the water with pristine gardens and gorgeous mountains in the backdrop.

THE TEA HOUSE AT BLUE FOREST
Sitting peacefully on top of the water, the Tea House at Blue Forest Farm is truly an incredible space to spend time. The mystical floating bridge leading up to the house, lily pads and coy fish swimming freely down below, and surrounding lush gardens add an extra layer of tranquility. Inside is a simple wood burning stove, with panoramic windows that open up to the great outdoors.
