Little Bear offers the perfect four-season Deep Creek setting for getaways with family and friends. It offers all new appliances and furniture, in a floor to ceiling renovation. This 2-level, 4-bedroom, 3-bath split lake home is ideally nestled towards the end of Cherry Creek Cove. You'll find yourself located in the lake's most coveted cove, surrounded by trees and calm waters at your private dock over "dock-tails". Little Bear is minutes from Wisp in the winter and enjoys a beautiful, quiet waterfront in the summer. Little Bear aims to leave adults, children, and furry best friends with life long memories of Deep Creek.
Little Bear just completed a total renovation in 2018 and boasts an absolutely beautiful open wood-tile floor plan between the kitchen, dining room, and living area, with modern farmhouse touches added to enhance both entertaining and decompressing agendas. The kitchen is designed with groups in mind. A sizable farmhouse sink supports large meal preparation (and dish cleaning procrastination), and the all new stainless appliances, custom cabinets with white quartz countertops, and suite of cooking utensils will allow you to create the perfect gourmet feast. With filtered lake views and ample light from giant sliding doors leading to a new 450 square foot deck, the spacious living area flows between those making dinner and those sitting around the 9-foot dining room table. In the pine vaulted ceiling living area with leather sofa and chairs, a custom white brick wood stove fireplace and flat screen smart TV provide a perfect backdrop for pets and ski bums to warm up while a cushioned bench and backyard window offer a good spot to watch wildlife strolling near the house in the adjacent forest.
Ready for movie time or just want to kick back on a comfy couch to watch football near the wet bar? The downstairs level offers a large flat screen media and sitting area with SONOS wireless sound, so you'll be able to easily play your favorite music while on Little Bear's free High Speed Wi-Fi (just download the SONOS app) through an award winning speaker system or simply watch 4K TV on a smart TV with cable, or your NETFILX/HULU/AMAZON account! All of the accessories for entertaining (think pint glasses) are conveniently located in the wet bar with an extra beverage fridge and under-the-counter microwave for popcorn. Of course, there are board games for the whole group upstairs. The main entrance to Little Bear is also located on the lower level, and a custom bench complete with chalkboard for tracking vacation activities, and storage for coats, shoes, and leashes will welcome you home. A children's reading nook under the stairs will give your kids the perfect place to make memories while playing hide and seek and the laundry room is close enough to the entrance to dry those wet ski clothes.
When it comes to rest, there are three bedrooms on the main floor and one additional primary on the lower level. Upstairs, both the primary with connected bathroom and guest room offer queen-sized beds and barndoor closets. Downstairs, the primary suite offers a king-sized bed with connected bathroom and ample closet space. Each of these bedrooms is appointed with brand new 5 star-rated Tuft and Needle Adaptive Foam mattress and bamboo pillow set. Each primary additionally offers a walk-in frameless glass sliding glass shower with custom vanities. Primary bedrooms on each floor allows dual families vacationing at Little Bear to enjoy their privacy! The fourth bedroom upstairs is appointed with 2-bunk beds (4 total twin beds), child safety mats on the tile floor under the rug, and both a small and mid-sized desk for children to draw the animals they saw at the lake. This is a perfect set up to corral groups of kids in the evenings. The third bathroom shared between the kid's room and guest room provides a tub/shower combo for all ages.
Moving outside, the brand new hot tub is a great way to unwind after skiing or wakeboarding all day. During summer months you can cross the street to access your private Type-A dock (up to two motorized and one non-motorized watercraft can park so you and all your friends have plenty of space to bring your boats or rent one at Deep Creek). The sandy bottom and calm waters next to the dock are perfect for young children to gain confidence in the water. During the summer, Cherry Creek Cove is the place to be. Watch or join the boats that slowly motor in and tie up in the center to enjoy the quiet waters. A lakeside firepit overlooks the dock and serves as the perfect place to watch a sunrise. For the fitness enthusiasts and nature lovers, because you're at the end of Cherry Cove both Rock Lodge Road and State Park Road offer great run and walking routes for the family as well as nearby nature trails ~ the annual Savage Man Triathlon route is just down the street from Little Bear!
