Located in the city center with its typical Lyon buildings, the grand Place des Jacobins, the famous Place Bellecour, and my favorite spot in summer, the Quays of the Saône—great for relaxing on warm evenings with views of the Medieval Vieux Lyon and the Basilica of Fourvière.
My recommendations: there are plenty of great spots! Feel free to reach out based on your preferences.

Boulangerie du Palais: known for its praline desserts
Pralus: the famous praline brioche—highly recommended!

Café du Rhône: local and updated traditional cuisine in a listed location.
La Madone: bar and appetizer boards with a lovely terrace and good products. DJs perform regularly, and they show football matches.
Abel: To try the famous Lyon quenelle—reservation recommended.
L’Ourson qui boit: excellent restaurant (also recommended to reserve).
Les Muses de l'Opéra: for a drink at the top of the Opera House with a stunning view of Lyon.
La Cuisine: traditional kitchen and bar.
La Cave des Voyageurs (in Vieux Lyon): wine tastings, small producers, excellent appetizer boards.
