Welcome to Lazy Bear Lakehouse, our little slice of Paradise only 90 minutes north of the GTA in Shamrock Bay Resort.
We invite you and your family to make yourselves at home in our cozy 3 bedroom cottage, featuring a full kitchen with a gas stove, a firepit, a BBQ, and a TV equipped with a DVD player and gaming system. Some DVDs and books are available for use during your stay.
Please note that we do not have Wifi at the cottage. Wifi is available at the welcome centre only.
*Due to COVID, we are taking extra precautions to keep you safe. Please bring your own linens, towels, etc.
The space
Here at Lazy Bear Lakehouse, we encourage you to go fishing off the dock, go for a swim at the beach, and make memories (and s'mores) around the campfire with your loved ones. Shamrock Bay Resort has many great amenities to make that possible:

Please note that due to the pandemic, all public amenities will only be open at the resort's discretion in order to keep people safe. Keep this in mind when booking.
I would also like to let you know that Centennial Park in Washago (5 minutes away), a highly recommended place to bring your kids and pets, seems to have instated new covid regulations, not permitting visitors to their park on weekends.
RESORT AGREEMENT:
All guests are required to check in at the Welcome Centre and sign a copy of the Resort Policies and Procedures.
The cottage owner agrees that the accommodation will be rented to no more than 6 people at any given time, (maximum of 4 adults within the 6) as recreational cottages are not made for larger groups.
One vehicle (or two depending on site and space) may be parked at the cottage while additional vehicle(s) must be parked in the overflow parking area.
The cottage owner agrees to provide each of their rental guests with the Great Blue Resorts reservations policies agreement. These policies need to be signed by the guest 2 hours in advance of arrival.
If a rental guest causes disruption to other guests or owners, causes damage to the cottage, or any other property, they will be asked to leave the resort immediately. The cottage owner will be notified by phone and/or email of the guest eviction and provided with details leading to the decision to evict.
Great Blue Resorts will not collect rental fees or any other fees directly from private rental guests.
