Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The property is located next to the A64 just outside of Malton. It is a busy road, so expect road traffic noise, although the property has been moderised to minimise this. It has been moderised to a a high standard, although at times the look could be sacrificed for few more practicalities, for example a bathroom shelf. Overall a nice, relaxing place to stay.
Negative: The cooking utensils were minimal and very basic, so a few more plates, bowls and better quality saucepans would have been welcome. The gas fire was out of service, which wasn't an inconvenience ,but would have been if we had had a cold spell.
