Immersed within the gently-rolling hills of The Marches, amidst the Metauro and Foglia Valleys lies Urbino, a city rich in history and art and the โCradle of Renaissance. Both Bramante and Raffaello took their first artistic steps in Urbino. Raffaello grew creatively in his father's workshop, and essentially made his debut with works commissioned by the powers in the Duchy's neighboring towns. With its Renaissance character, Urbino earned its place on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1998. โAmongst these strikingly beautiful bluish-green hills lies Casale di Nicolรฒ, a large traditionally furnished country house with nice views. The house is composed of 4 apartments (6 + 4 + 2 + 2 people) with independent entrances in the main building and one cottage for two people, but it is rented as private villa for 3/4 families and couples or group of friends. The fixtures and fittings are of good standard and the furnishing are tasteful. To one side of the property is a swimming pool which also provides an excellent panorama. In the area there are also some very well known places like San Marino Republic, San Leo, Fano, Pesaro, Rimini and Acqualagna very famous for its white truffle.
