Positive: Not as expected when booking (see below) but the villa is a beautiful oasis of calm. It is architecturally stunning. The gardens are very special. A lovely place to relax. I would consider returning with a group (albeit with my eyes open as to the set up - see below)
Negative: This is not a villa to yourself as such. We wanted privacy but the staff remain at all times which was not what we wanted or understood when booking. You cannot use the kitchen to cook. Therefore you really need to pay the villa for catering - 25 euro per person per meal (breakfast is included). The pool is unheated unless you pay for heating. We agreed 30 euros per day. I should say we had a very nice time but have added these points as the listing is not sufficiently clear in my view. It may be a translation issue. The staff were all very nice. Sophie was available on WhatsApp before our check in and explained everything very clearly and was a real pleasure to work with. Very professional and kind.
