These newly built chalets (2006) are situated in Präbichl, in Styria, in the midst of unspoilt nature. Here you have breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
You will find these modern chalets (with terrace) in a sunny location, right on the pistes. Amenities include a private parking lot and playground,
fresh breakfast pastries available on the spot, cozy inns in the immediate vicinity and a supermarket which is also easy to reach from the complex.
The legendary Polster chair lift provides the perfect entry to the nature around Präbichl. In just 11 minutes you will find yourself at an altitude of between 1200 and almost 2000 meters above sea level, from where you have a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. From the Polster station there are numerous marked hiking trails of varying difficulty which run through the region of Hochschwab-South. Admirers of Präbichl joke about the fact that the greatest difficulty will undoubtedly be which one of the many beautiful routes to choose. There are many inviting chalets and inns here as well. In June the mountain shows it’s most wonderful face and invites you for a spectacular hike. Protected plants of the region, such as Gentiana and Bear's Ear, reveal all their beauty under the clear blue skies.

Downstairs there is an entrance hall with a wardrobe and a large sitting area with a fireplace, sofa bed, satellite TV and radio. In addition, there is a fully equipped kitchen (cooker with oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kitchen utensils) and a dining area with dining table. Upstairs you’ll find 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 triple), a bathroom with shower and a separate toilet. The accommodation also has under-floor heating.
Hochschwab is a hiker's paradise with trails of varying difficulty dotted with rustic mountain huts containing typical Styrian adornment.
In the Styrian Erzberg there is a mine which boasts the largest siderite deposit in the world. Visit this underground maze and become acquainted with the work of the miners. From 01 May - 31 October there are daily guided tours (between 10:00 and 3:00 o'clock). “Hauly” tours are also offered utilizing the largest cabs in the world! The "Hauly", as they are affectionately called, are the heavy goods vehicles which bring children and parents to the still-active colleagues at the Erzberg. Up to 20,000 tons of ore and rock are reclaimed here every day.
After your conquest of the mountains, you can dive into the reservoir of Präbichl (including special diving spot!) for a refreshing experience good for body, mind and soul. 2 ha of water and a vast surrounding nature provide an ideal opportunity for relaxation. Diving courses are held for beginners to professionals (even for children, over 8 years of age). Golf enthusiasts can go to Reiting / Gai - only 20 minutes away. In Gesäuse National Park you can go rafting, climbing or hiking. The Elfenberg Mautern (35 minutes drive away) is a family and adventure park with zoo, summer toboggan run and other highlights.
The Erzbergbahn is the steepest standard gauge railway in Europe and was inaugurated in 1891 as a cog railway. It was in operation (with steam locomotives) until 1978 and is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful railway lines in Austria. Enjoy the incredible feeling of a tandem paragliding flight at Präbichl - of course with experienced tandem pilot!

The chalets are located in the ski resort of Präbichl - a modern ski resort in Upper Styria, at an altitude of between 1,100 and 1,900 meters. At the complex you will find private parking, a playground and fresh breakfast pastries available right in front of the door. There are cozy inns in the immediate vicinity and a supermarket is also nearby. Wake up, have breakfast, put on your ski equipment and the slopes are waiting for you just in front of your house! You can be skiing in just half an hour. Ski and snowboard rentals are available at the base station. The ski area has 2 detachable 4-seat chair lifts, a one-person chairlift, 3 ski lifts, a baby lift and a magic carpet in the 'Purzelwiese' exercise area for children, a conveyor for beginners and 20 km of slopes with a range of difficulty levels. The 55 hectares of slopes are covered 100% by snow thanks to the fully automated snowmaking system.
Wide downhill slopes for beginners and families in Grübl and demanding runs in Polster guarantee fun and adventure for everyone.

If you still haven't had enough ofskiing, snowboarding or carving, or if you simply want to enjoy the fun of the slopes at night, then the illuminated toboggan run is for you! This slope is lit in the evening from 4:30 until 10:00 pm! (length of about 1 km). There are 12 km of classic and skating trails running parallel with cross-country trails in Ramsau, at altitudes of from 1,015 to 1,064 meters.
Enjoy ice skating in Vordernberg (6km) or Eisenerz (8km). Treat yourself to the varied offer of the new "Vitalbades Eisenerz" (Vitality Spa of Eisenerz) - about 10 minutes drive from the ski area of Präbichl. It has a fun pool, childrens pool, Finnish sauna, tepidarium, oriental steam bath, massage and solarium. The Asia Spa Leoben (23 km) offers unprecedented insights into Chinese pool and spa traditions. It is a blend of modern recreational adventure with exclusive wellness. 6,000m² of recreation and wellness with pool, sauna and plenty of opportunity for relaxation! The Präblich cable cars bring the younger guests to „Schlumperwald” where there are playgrounds and numerous attractions in the snow.
