The space
Spacious and comfortable apartment on the third and last floor of building of medieval origin in the historic center of Lucca, a stone's throw from the picturesque Piazza Anfiteatro became a symbol of the city, within the ancient city walls. Recently renovated furnished in a cozy and functional way is composed of : on the main floor, entrance on large living/dining room with parquet floor ( TV, DVD, stereo system), fully equipped kitchen (oven with gas stove, fridge with freezer, electric stove, coffee maker, kettle, toaster,dishwasher, washing machine) 1 queen size double bedroom with attached bathroom (bathtub/shower+toilet), 1 bedroom with a single bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 bathroom with shower cabin and toilet.
From the living room, through internal stairs , you enter the attic, where there is a second living area, bathroom with shower cabin and services, 1 double bedroom queen size bed.
Climbing a few more steps leads to the tower, a feature that makes this apartment unique where you will find the beautiful equipped rooftop terrace and even higher the altana- solarium, one of the highest and most beautiful viewpoints in the entire city - (mandatory to supervise children) from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the surrounding rooftops and hills.
The house is equipped with Wi-Fi internet connection and the minimum baby accessories (crib and high chair ) available upon request.
The area is quiet, we are in the heart of the old market of the city and under the house, within 50meters, you can find the bakery, various butcher shops, which also prepare excellent take-away dishes, the fruit market, wine bars and trattorias (Da Gigi, Canuleia, il Punto, Miranda, Bucatino,,,) cab service, pharmacies, bookstores and shopping in the very close Via Fillungo. Plus in nearby Piazza del Carmine there is a small but well-stocked Supermarket, which also offers home service. It is close to the train station (15 minutes walk).

There are 6 flights, interrupted by the landing, for a total of 57 steps to access the door of the house. It is on the third floor. A flight of 16 steps to access the attic, a small ancient staircase of about 10 steps , to access the terrace. (see photo)
