Positive: The house itself is very comfortable and with two teenage boys the outside apartment (third bedroom worked well) but for a family with younger children would not have worked. The pool area is very nice, albeit some distance from the main house so with smaller children you would need to be with them at all times.
Negative: The location is down a very rough track that is not lit at night and caused a puncture in our hire car so the distances to the village are not wholly accurate and are probably measured as the crow flies. In our view, a hire car is essential, taxis struggle to find the house. We had problems with the electric gates (they didn’t work) that the management company seemed unable to resolve while we were there which slightly compromised security given the relatively remote location. We wouldn’t return but if you like a relatively remote location away from the village centre and like the Spanish style finca, this would be a good option.
